WIPO domain disputes, 26 October 2026: 21 new cases, 2 decisions
Twenty-one new complaints started and two rulings were handed down at WIPO today; 684 cases remain open.
Twenty-one new complaints began at WIPO on Monday, covering 33 domain names.
The widest case is D2026-4687, one complaint from Ares Management LLC against five domain names, including arescapitalinvest.capital.
One of today’s 33 disputed names pair a brand with a word such as support, login or official, for example tempcovermyaccount.com. That is the usual shape of an impersonation site, though the complaint text is what establishes it.
42% of the names sit outside .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz, led by .shop, .pro, .xyz.
WIPO panels published two decisions: two ordered the domain transferred to the complainant.
Elsewhere, five cases were closed without a ruling and two were paused. WIPO’s list does not say why; a closure before a decision usually means the parties settled or the complaint was withdrawn, and a pause is usually the parties negotiating.
Among the 2,030 most recent WIPO cases tracked here, 684 are active, 141 are filed and waiting on WIPO’s compliance review, and 98 are paused. The longest-running active case, D2026-3081, began 81 days ago.
21 cases, 33 domain names. These cases cleared WIPO’s compliance review and formally began today.
Complaints WIPO received that have not yet been formally started. Most begin within a few days.
2 decisions. The case number opens WIPO’s record; the outcome opens the decision itself.
WIPO often posts a decision’s full text a few days after the outcome. These are facts read from decisions published in the last ten days, now that the text is available.
WIPO lists these as terminated. That usually means a settlement or a withdrawal; WIPO does not say which.
Suspended cases are on hold, commonly at the parties’ request while they talk. They can resume or end without a ruling.
Of the active cases, 454 began in the last 30 days, 221 between 30 and 59 days ago and 9 more than 60 days ago.
WIPO decided 348 of the cases tracked here in the 30 days to 26 October 2026: 94% ended in a transfer, 5% in a refused complaint, 1% in a cancellation and 1% another way.

How this page is made
Every figure here comes from WIPO’s own public case lists for generic top-level domains,
read once a day. This page covers WIPO only. Other UDRP providers such as Forum, the Czech Arbitration
Court and the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre run their own cases and are not included.
Launched and decided use the dates WIPO itself records.
Closed, paused and filed are the first day this tracker saw
a case in that state, so they depend on the tracker having looked the day before.
The tracker follows the 2,030 most recent WIPO case numbers; a case older than that is not shown.
Respondents are not named here; the case number links to WIPO’s record.
Disputed names are shown as plain text on purpose. Many are live impersonation sites, so none is linked.
A complaint is an allegation until a panel rules. This is a news summary, not legal advice.
The wording is generated from the data by fixed templates, with no AI model involved,
so it cannot report a case that WIPO does not list.
