But…but…I couldn't buy the domain I want! – Domain Name Wire | Domain Name News
A nonprofit tries a unique argument in cybersquatting claim.

A World Intellectual Property Organization panelist has found Neta Foundation, Inc., guilty of reverse domain name hijacking.
The nonprofit, which is a charitable asset manager, filed a cybersquatting dispute against neta.org. That’s a shorter version of its domain, netafoundation.org.
The case was dead on arrival: neta.org was registered in 2001, and Neta Foundation didn’t exist until 2023.
What was Neta’s rationale for why it should get the domain?
…attempts to acquire [the Disputed Domain Name] for a fair price failed and there’s no indication that Respondent has or ever will have an intent to use the domain name for a legitimate purpose.
Oof!
It’s unclear what legal representation Neta Foundation had. The UDRP states that OlyverApp represented it.
OlyverApp is an online legal management system for businesses. Its website currently says it hasn’t launched and that people can join a waitlist, although social mentions suggest it launched years ago.
